• Gu locks are now manufactured with a new style centre lock case
• The main difference betwen old and new style is the distance between the latch and deadbolt, this will sometimes cause problems with the strike plates
• The distance between the latch and deadbolt on the new style centre lock case is 52mm
• The distance between the latch and deadbolt on the old style centre lock case is 62mm
• The other major difference is the difference in thhe height on the centre lock case, although this shouldn't cause any rela problems when retrofitting
• Case height on the new style centre lock case is 195mm
• Case hieght on the old style centre lock case is 207mm
• Old style case may also have cranked faceplates 

Latch Reversal:

• Push flat bladed screwdriver into small rectangular slot above spindle and pull latch out at the same time
